Since Konstru is using APIs to connect to, its at the same time limited by them. Some of the client APIs are not fully implemented or only give us access to certain parts. Sadly the Revit API is still limited on updating geometries of floors and grid lines. This is why Konstru updates those elements by replacing them with new elements. Now we could easily rehost all the hosted elements but the Revit API is limiting us on this one as well. So if you want to make sure your grid line or floor geometry updates are not replacing any elements in your Revit model, simply filter geometry updates of floors and grid lines in your filters.
For sloped columns updates on sloped columns work fine, same for straight columns on straight columns. But if we want to update a straight column to be sloped we are limited. In this case we have to replace the original column with a new one.
